Spin the Grain is a meal prep slot machine. You can use all of it without an account. Signing in only lets your picks follow you to other devices.
If you don't sign in
No order history is kept. Your current picks and pins are saved in your own browser (local storage) so the shopping ticket survives a reload. They aren't sent to us.
If you sign in
- With Google: we get your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture from Google. We don't get your password or anything else in your Google account.
- With a text code: we keep your phone number. The code is sent by Twilio, which sees your number to deliver it.
- Your name is optional. You can stay anonymous.
With an account we save your picks, pins, past orders and settings, plus when the account was created and when you last signed in. One cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days.
Where it's stored
Account data is stored with Cloudflare, which runs the site. Text codes go through Twilio Verify, and Google sign-in goes through Google. The page also loads fonts from Google Fonts.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your data, and there are no ads, analytics or tracking. Shopping links open Walmart or Amazon, and their own privacy policies apply there.
Deleting your account
Email vladbekker@gmail.com from the address or phone you signed in with, and we'll delete your account and everything saved with it.
